Third stop: Turin
The last stage of the “Giro del Gusto” stopped off at the “Salone del Gusto” from 23–27 October 2014. The exhibition is an international reference that unites 1000 exhibitors from 137 countries. On the opening day Valais/Wallis Promotion initiated a culinary tour of Valais. During the media conference, selected specialist journalists and restaurant critics were given the opportunity to discover Valais AOP and IGP products as well as tourist destinations in the Valais region. Tasting workshops were also held at which over 40 restaurateurs from the Turin region were able to sample selected Valais wines.
