This Easter Sunday: Foehn conditions continue, with gusts expected, particularly in the side valleys and the Upper Valais. Variable to cloudy skies despite some sunny spells, and generally little or no precipitation in Central Valais. Some showers expected in the Chablais region. Overcast conditions along the southern Alpine ridge and in the Simplon area, with fairly frequent rain in the morning and the snow line around 1800 to 2000 m. Seasonal temperatures. Forecast temperatures for the Rhône plain: lows 7 to 9°C, highs 15 to 17°C. In resorts around 1500m: lows 3 to 5°C, highs 7 to 9°C. On the summits: 1/3°C at 2000m, -4/-3°C at 3000m. Freezing level: 2400 m. Light daytime breeze in the Rhône plain. Sometimes quite strong Foehn gusts in the Upper Valais, and possibly also in some side valleys.
