Chamoson – Home of Johannisberg

Visperterminen - Europe’s highest vineyard
Hop aboard one of the iconic yellow Postbuses to follow an educational vineyard trail. After taking a walk through the vineyards along the Beitra bisse, an historic irrigation channel, enjoy a delicious lunch at the Rothorn restaurant before taking the Postbus to the St. Jodern wine cellar to try some local wines, such as the ‘Heida’ variety, at a guided tasting session. ‘Heida’, or ‘Païen’ for French speakers, is a little-known but unmissable regional grape variety.
