Grown in Mund, at an altitude of over 1,200 metres, Valais saffron is unique in Switzerland. Nicknamed “red gold”, it embodies the perfect combination of ancestral know-how, meticulous craftsmanship and aromatic excellence. For just a few weeks every autumn, thousands of flowers are picked by hand, one by one. This meticulous work produces a product that is as rare as it is intense, with deep flavours and a vibrant colour. A precious spice, from an exceptional terroir.
