Description

Board the Mont-Blanc Express and head for the highest zoo in Europe. Perched at an altitude of 1,100 m above sea level and in the midst of fir trees and larches, Les Marécottes zoo is accessible all year round. It extends over 35,000 m and is dedicated to alpine fauna: black bears, wolves, lynx, ibexes, etc.

Adjacent to the zoo, the alpine swimming pool (open only in summer) is nestled in the rocks. Carved into the rock, and in complete harmony with the surrounding alpine environment, it has a surprisingly poetic allure.
