The City of Apricots: Famous for its apricots, the village of Saxon, located at the foot of the Pierre Avoi Mountain, is also the starting point of many hiking trails such as the Sentier des Adonis, the Sentier de l'Abricot, the Sentier du Troupeau, the Bisse de Saxon (the longest in Valais) and the Sentier Ludique. Step back in time to discover Saxon’s history by visiting its museum and enjoy the Apricot Festival, which takes place every two years during the harvest.
