Fiescheralp

The secluded Fiescheralp at the foot of the Eggishorn at 2,212 m above sea level is nicknamed "Chiehbode" and is a paradise for paragliding. Together with Rieder- and Bettmeralp, Fiescheralp belongs to the car-free, sunny Aletsch plateau. The Eggishorn, the Märjelensee and the UNESCO World Natural Heritage Jungfrau-Aletsch make it the perfect place for hiking, climbing and biking tours with the ski slopes right on the doorstep in winter. Thanks to the special thermals, the Fiescheralp is also considered a mecca for paragliding.
