Winter hikes

The path of the Gô

Anzère

The Gô is a family-friendly trail that winds through trees and clearings. Close to the village of Anzère, you will have the impression of being far from civilisation.

Difficulty

Easy

Length

4.11 km

Duration

1:15 h

Description

Take the forest road and start this short walk from the upper car park of the gondola. Admire the mayensarchitecture, old chalets typical of the region. With the cross-country ski trail running alongside it, this charming route is flat and easy and does not require any particular physical ability. The tourist office organises a culinary walk, the Rallye du Gô, along this route each March.

Turn-by-turn directions

From the Anzère gondola, drive to the upper car park. From here, about 50 metres after the bus stop above, you will find the beginning of a forest road. Follow it to the intersection with "La Brune" where you turn left and follow the cross-country ski trail. Stay on the groomed track. You will then complete a loop that will bring you back to the gondola.
