Look out for clues that may lead encounters with the local fauna.

Turn-by-turn directions

The trail starts in the resort of Anzère. You will walk on a flat section of the Bisse de Sion in the heart of the forest, with its dreamlike aspect created by the snow playing on the branches of the fir trees and a number of small frozen waterfalls. After some 20 minutes, a short climb will take you to the Mayens des Grillesses. From here, your eyes will automatically be drawn to the idyllic setting of the Rhône Valley disappearing into the mountains beyond Sierre/Brig. The return journey takes the same route back to Anzère.

This route presents no major difficulties.
