The Chestnut Forest

Today the chestnut forest is open to the public and is a popular destination for walks and recreational activities. In October, everyone is welcome to come pick a few chestnuts free of charge for their own consumption. Chestnut fans come from all over the country to pick the fresh chestnuts from the hundred-year-old trees. The forest produces about 200 grams of chestnuts per square metre.
