Grimentz

N°2 - The "Grands Plans - Grimentz" path is a beautiful hike from the top of the Grands Plans chairlift to the village of Grimentz.

Difficulty

Easy

Length

9.35 km

Duration

2:35 h

Description

This hike runs partly on the ski area. Hikers will cross skiers, snowboarders and sledge riders. A second calmer part will allow hikers to reach the village of Grimentz by enjoying the peace of the forest.

Turn-by-turn directions

The "Grand Plans - Grimentz" path leads from the top of the Grand Plans chairlift to Grimentz. It follows the toboggan run, and, halfway between the Grand Plans and the Bendolla mountain restaurant, you can stop at the Alpage du Marais restaurant.

From there, the road makes a few more bends before reaching Bendolla. Head north for the second part of the descent. The path goes downhill and, before the Torrent du Marais, forks off onto an old mule track. The descent is sometimes in the forest and sometimes in a more open environment. The departure point of the ski lifts is reached via the Beauregard road and the Roua de la Fontana.
