Not to mention Grimentz-Zinal which is offering five signposted itineraries ranging from 450 to more than 1,000 metre gradients to meet the needs of all types of ski tourers. Just like those in St-Luc/Chandolin and Vercorin, the routes are divided into three colour categories: blue (easy), red (medium) and black (difficult). Maintained by local associations, they offer breathtaking scenery ranging from forests to views of the “imperial crown” – five peaks over 4,000 metres high – and vast expanses of powder snow. Have fun trying them out!
