The Gorges Mystérieuses of Tête-Noire & the Nymphes Cave

This round-trip hike leads from Tête-Noire to the Gorges Mystérieuses traverses former pastures, over four wooden ladders and stone steps through the forest down to the gallery. Visitors take 120–metre-long wooden catwalks to reach the bottom of the gorge which is dominated by the Nymphes Cave. The road back is the ancient international trade route (now a hiking trail) which connects Martigny and Chamonix.
Important information: Unfortunately, the Grotte aux Nymphes is not accessible this summer due to construction works.
