CIME
The CIME (Celebration Intercultural of the Mountain in Evolene) welcome each two years from 10th to 15th August many folk dance groups representing the mountain culture from all around the world. Through dance, music, crafting and cinema, the festival celebrates the mountain in the charming town of Evolène, in the Val d’Hérens. Labelled by the CIOFF in 2009, this manifestation is unique in Europe through its specific thematic, and its authentical atmosphere.
