This little village perched at an altitude of 1,476 m in the Val d'Anniviers has an exceptional building heritage typical of the region. Located on the road leading to the resort of Zinal, Ayer is a small village with a unique history, which can be seen in its lanes and its rich building heritage. The village is mainly characterised by the log constructions concentrated around the church. A historical trail reveals this typical village and its treasures.
