Leytron

The region around the picturesque village of Leytron, surrounded by the cliffs of the Ardévaz, is famous for its first-class wines and Leytron is therefore known as the "Village de l'Humagne". Since 2021, Leytron has been home to a national station for viticulture and oenology. In addition to the numerous vineyards, a few small hamlets lead from the village along the road up to Ovronnaz, which is known for its thermal baths and ski resort. The highlight for hikers in the region is the Farinet suspension bridge, which spans the Salentze gorge.
