Specialisation categories of Valais accommodation

Wellness hotels
These hotels are classified in one of the four specialisation categories: Wellness, Medical Wellness, Wellness & Spa and Medical Wellness & Spa. The hotels must provide facilities and offerings connected with water and water applications.
Family hotels
These hotels offer the kind of hotel/room infrastructure and dining options that children want.
Cycling and mountain-biking hotels
These hotels cater to the needs of guests who are travelling by bicycle, be it by touring bike, road bike, mountain bike, e-bike etc.
Hiking hotels
These hotels offer their guests in particular the certainty that there is a hiking trail virtually on the doorstep, that hikers are welcomed without any fuss, and that hikers can expect the kind of amenities they need such as drying facilities, packed lunches and early breakfasts.
Snow sports hotel
