Les 4 Vallées - Area Thyon

Thyon is the eastern gateway to the largest continuous skiing area located entirely on Swiss soil, Les 4 Vallées. The resort is spread over three levels of altitude, each offering quick and easy access to the ski slopes. The family-friendly destination has two beginners’ areas. The Petit Vallon area is accessible from the ski slope, or by car and on foot. Two free conveyor belts help newbies learn snow sports. The ski cross and freestyle area comprises the Central Camp snow park and the Gaspard le Montagnard fun park, completing the infrastructure of the destination. These facilities enable the youngest visitors to gain new skiing experience and gradually get to grips with the freestyle discipline. Ski and snowboard courses for adults and children, as well as a wide choice of holiday accommodation, add up to a friendly and varied place for family holidays. The ski area comprises the resorts of Thyon, Veysonnaz, Nendaz, La Tzoumaz, Verbier and Bruson, boasting 82 lifts and 412 kilometres of pistes. There are twelve ski lifts in the Thyon region alone in the immediate vicinity of most of the accommodation. The slopes are open from the end of November to April.
