Speichersee Hohbiel

In the summer the chair lift at the Sparrhorn takes you up to Hohbiel, close to the Speichersee at 2680m. Once there, you can gaze at the dramatic alpine scenery with views to 17 4000-metre peaks. The pristine alpine lake has a diameter of 150 metres. From Hohbiel you can hike towards the Aletschbord, from where you enjoy a grandiose view of the mighty Aletsch Glacier.
