In many old chalets, a soapstone stove stands proudly at the centre of the room – a symbol of Valais’s heritage and a way of heating the home. The Valais-brand label showcases the skills and know-how required to produce, restore and maintain these stoves – an art form which is becoming increasingly rare. Valais-brand certified, the stoves and stone products are entirely produced in Valais.
