Valley of Trient Regional Nature Park

From the Arpille to the Cime de l'Est, from Trient glacier to the vineyards of Martigny-Combe, from breathtaking gorges to dry stone walls, from the Salanfe and Emosson dams to St-Maurice abbey, the Valley of Trient Regional Nature Park unfolds its cultural treasures and natural wonders. Its wild, unspoilt nature offers splendid landscapes, studded with tasty local produce from an authentic heritage. Living traditions, folk music and dances, and the local patois are some of the local customs perpetuated by committed societies. The territory covers a 222 sq.km area spread over the seven communes of Saint-Maurice, Evionnaz, Vernayaz, Martigny-Combe, Salvan, Finhaut and Trient.
