Description

The Lötschental Panoramic Trail is one of the best-known Panoramic trails in the Valais. Situated almost entirely between 1,800 and 2,100 m above sea level, this route offers hikers a magical panoramic view of the Lötschental. The trail takes hikers through wild, romantic forests and across Alpine meadows and offers idyllic picnic spots to rest and recover on the edge of the picturesque Schwarzsee lake.

Getting there
Information

Public transport

From Gampel-Steg or Goppenstein, the PostBus will take you to Wiler, Talstation. The cable car takes you up to Lauchernalp at 1969 metres in 5 minutes.

Approach

From Goppenstein, drive into the Lötschental, past the villages of Ferden and Kippel to Wiler. There are plenty of parking spaces available at the Wiler-Lauchernalp cable car.

You can park your car in the car park at the Wiler-Lauchernalp cable car ( fee payable).
