The Swiss Booktown

At the foot of a beautiful vineyard in the municipality of Chamoson is the medieval village of St-Pierre-de-Clages, Switzerland’s only book town. Implemented by an association, the initiative makes an exceptional contribution to the development of the region. Antique dealers and antiquarian booksellers have settled here and, since their arrival, they have been supported by the same association that organises the « Fête du livre » in August.
