Description
The cogwheel railway runs from Täsch to the famous Alpine village of Zermatt, at an altitude of 1,600 metres, and then on to the Gornergrat, at an altitude of 3,100 metres. Enjoy the unique experience of being able to admire the Matterhorn throughout the trip. Once at the top, it's hard not to revel in the panoramic view, with mountains and glaciers as far as the eye can see, as well as a popular photo spot where you can see the Matterhorn at its best.
