Description

The variety of dry stone walls in the Martigny vineyards is surprising at first glance. In fact, the ancients used local stone, and the appearance of these walls depends on the stones found on site, but also on the pebbles brought in by melting glaciers. What influence does all this have on the wine? Find out on this guided walk, which includes 4 tastings.

Departure by minibus from the Tourist Office to the charming little village of Plan-Cerisier and start the walk through the vineyards to the Château de la Bâtiaz. During this walk, 3 grape varieties from different wine producers in the region are offered for tasting. A small agape consisting of dried meat, ham and rye bread awaits you at the Château de la Bâtiaz to accompany the final tasting.
