No previous knowledge is necessary, and the exhibition is presented in four languages (DE, FR, EN and IT). Visits are possible all year round, except on 25 December and 1 January, when the museum is closed. Museums are always closed on Mondays. A visit to the exhibition takes around two hours and can also be done in groups (max. 20 to 30 people). Day tickets are valid for an unlimited period between 10:00 and 17:00 and include the permanent exhibition on the first floor as well as the daily vernissages. Can I interrupt my visit to the exhibition ? With the day admission, you can visit the exhibition between 10:00 and 17:00 and take a refreshment break at any time in the Jungfrau-Aletsch Restaurant. Can I cancel a purchased ticket ? If you are unable to attend and have already paid for your visit, we will send you a voucher. Are dogs allowed in the exhibition ? Dogs are unfortunately not allowed in the exhibition on the upper floor. Guide dogs and assistance dogs are of course an exception. Is the museum pass or the Raiffeisen card valid ? On presentation of the valid card / membership card, the visit to the exhibition is free of charge. Can I book a guided visit to the exhibition ? Guided tours for a maximum of 15 people can be booked at a price of CHF 150, but reservations must be made in advance. Is the exhibition wheelchair accessible ? The exhibition is mostly wheelchair accessible, with only a few exceptions. For which age group is the visit recommended ? The exhibition is designed to cover every age group: The spectrum ranges from playful experiences for children from the age of three to in-depth information for adults and senior citizens. Are there combined experiences with visits to nature ? The World Heritage Foundation offers various combined experiences for groups and school classes.
