The Visitor Centre at the UNESCO World Heritage Swiss Alps Jungfrau-Aletsch is considered the most modern museum in the Alps. In the exhibition, visitors experience the World Heritage Site with all their senses while immersing themselves in the exciting and diverse Alpine world. Fascinating films, interactive experiences and the latest technology awaken a spirit of curiosity in young and old visitors alike. The World Nature Forum explains the processes related to the formation and change of the Alps, as well as climate challenges, and offers a varied exhibition for explorers from ages three to 99.

General information:

No previous knowledge is necessary, and the exhibition is presented in four languages (DE, FR, EN and IT). Visits are possible all year round, except on 25 December and 1 January, when the museum is closed. Museums are always closed on Mondays. A visit to the exhibition takes around two hours and can also be done in groups (max. 20 to 30 people). Day tickets are valid for an unlimited period between 10:00 and 17:00 and include the permanent exhibition on the first floor as well as the daily vernissages. All information on the UNESCO World Heritage Site is provided free of charge.
