RegionAlps was founded in 2003. It is a Valaisan company based in Martigny and was created by a partnership between SBB and TMR. The company operates a rail network of approximately 146 kilometers from St-Gingolph to Brig and from Martigny to Le Chable and Orsières. Since 2011 RegionAlps is also the owner of a bus service between Leuk and Visp.
