Media Center Valais
The Media Center Valais is the cantons public library and exists out of four libraries: Saint -Maurice, Martigny, Brig und les Arsenaux in Sion. The library serves as a studying and educational center and provides cultural heritage and its education. Today, the Media Center Valais is a popular place where people can meet and exchange or linger in one of the three cafeterias.
The collection offers a wide range of books, printed works, audiovisual documentation, especially photographic and video material as well as sound recordings (Martigny) all Valais-related. Furthermore, a specialized music and an art library (both in Sion) and a pedagogical documentation for teachers (in Brig and Saint-Maurice).
