A sunny end to the day, followed by a clear evening and a cool, moonlit night. Friday will see largely sunny weather. Some cumulus clouds will develop over the mountains during the afternoon, potentially leading to a localised shower towards Upper Valais. Temperatures will be cool at dawn, then just seasonal in the afternoon, with noticeable valley breezes. Forecast temperatures for the Rhône plain: minimums 9 to 13°C, maximums 26 to 29°C. At stations around 1500m: minimums 7 to 10°C, maximums 20 to 22°C. On the summits: 7/18°C at 2000m, 2/6°C at 3000m. 0°C isotherm: 3700m. Moderate breeze during the day in the Rhône plain (gusts around 50 km/h). Noticeable north-westerly wind in the high mountains (wind speeds sometimes exceeding 55 km/h around 2500m).
