Turn-by-turn directions

Starting from the train station in Oberwald, we will take the cycle path heading north, soon finding ourselves on a winding trail on which we will quickly gain altitude. After around 4km, we will leave the asphalt path and turn left. We will need to climb around 1,000 metres on our way up, but the path is very smooth.

After around 10km, there will be a brief downhill trail, after which we will alternate between cycling uphill and downhill. We will reach the highest point of the tour at around 2,250m, which is followed by a long, pleasant descent – first via a path, then via winding stretches – to Ulrichen. There, we will cross the train tracks and take a leisurely ride alongside the Rhône back to Oberwald.
