Majingalp

Nestled at the foot of the Torrenthorn at an altitude of 1,974 metres, the Majingalp snack bar is accessible on foot from Leukerbad (Loèche-les-Bains). The mountain pasture is home to 40 Fleckvieh cows and a herd of goats whose milk is transformed into alpine cheeses on site every day. From mid-June to early October, you can enjoy specialities from Upper Valais in an authentic alpine setting, including cheese made on site, Mutschli, raclette, goat’s cheese, open sandwiches, sausages and their legendary meringues with alpine cream. You can also buy these products to take away.
