Description

Officially, it’s a chopping board. Unofficially, it’s mainly an excuse to bring out the cheese and dried meat and open a bottle ‘just to go with it’. This beechwood board is made to live life on the edge: knife cuts, splattering juices, chopping, slicing, mincing, crushing... It’s seen it all, from razor-sharp to blunt knives.

It isn’t judgmental. It takes a beating and bears the marks of endless aperitifs, impromptu dinners and cuts that may not always be perfectly straight. The more used it is, the better the stories it tells.

This sturdy (Swiss Wood Label certified) beechwood board is adorned with a laser engraving that says “Valais. Gravé dans mon cœur” on one side, and “Wallis. Ins Herz gemeisselt” on the reverse. It is treated with a protective food-grade oil. It measures 320 x 180 x 15 mm and is produced by the St-Hubert Foundation.

Goods in stock are shipped within 3–5 working days of receiving the order. Orders can be delivered to Switzerland and the Principality of Liechtenstein. Whatever the quantity or value of the goods ordered, delivery costs CHF 9. For smaller items, delivery charges are limited to CHF 2.50. These charges are invoiced once per order, even if the order is delivered in several consignments. Free delivery: - On orders of CHF 150 or more or - For loyalty scheme members living in Valais.

No right of return is granted for merchandising products sold on valais.ch. Only clothing may be returned or exchanged. If you do not wish to keep a garment, you may return it within ten days of receiving it. It must be in its original packaging and in pristine condition. Return postage charges are paid for by the customer. If you are only returning part of your order, you will be sent a new amended invoice to reflect any returned items.
