Description
The Gornergrat Bahn is a cogwheel railway that goes from Zermatt station to the Gornergrat at an altitude of 3,100 metres. During the trip on this panoramic train, the Matterhorn can be admired every step of the way offering a unique experience. Once at the top, it's hard not to appreciate the panorama before one with mountains and glaciers as far as the eye can see, as well as a popular photo spot from which the Matterhorn can be observed from its most beautiful angle on the edge of the Riffelsee.
