Imagine an extraordinary experience encompassing a delightful walk in the company of a guide while discovering the many facets Valère has to offer: history, geology, flora, etc.
Discover the fortified church, the “poudrière” (gun powder magazine), the Venetz stone, the mill, the “jubé” (church gallery) and the oldest playable organ in the world during this guided walk, which begins on Place Maurice Zermatten. The tour includes a meal at the end served at the Café de Valère in the fortified town. Run by the Office de l'Asile, the Café de Valère offers a structure for training and integrating asylum seekers into the catering trades.
