The scooter descent from Bettmeralp to Betten village is an easy but scenic tour for the whole family.
Important: Children accompanied by their parents can rent a scooter from the age of 10. Teenagers aged 16 and over can hire the all-terrain scooters without the accompaniment of their parents.
Cable car: The Betten Dorf - Bettmeralp train ticket is not included. Please purchase this in advance via the webshop or at one of the Aletsch Bahnen AG counters.

Bettmeralp - Betten Dorf scooter run
The scooter descent from Bettmeralp to Betten Dorf is an easy but scenic tour for the whole family. The tour takes around 40 minutes from the Bettmeralp mountain station, past beautiful mountain pastures, down into the valley to the Betten Dorf mountain railway station.
You can book an all-terrain scooter including helmet directly here in the webshop and hire one from the sales point at the Bettmeralp mountain station.
Route: Bettmeralp to Betten Dorf
Operating hours: From 29 June to 20 October 2024 (subject to suitable road conditions).
Hiring of scooters: Bettmeralp mountain railway building 9:00 - 17:00 (scooters are not hired when the roads are wet).
Important: Children accompanied by their parents can rent a scooter from the age of 10. Adolescents from the age of 16 can also hire the all-terrain scooters without the accompaniment of their parents. The scooters are generally only permitted for one person. Children are not allowed on the scooter.
