Raclette on the pasture - Nendaz
Come and meet the Hérens cows and enjoy a raclette prepared on a wood fire.
Chairlift ride for everyone. If you don't have an annual season ticket, you can buy your ticket in Siviez before the start of the activity.
Price: CHF 15.00 (adults) or CHF 8.00 (children). The ticket for the chairlift is not included in the price.
Bookings must be made no later than 16:00 the day before with Nendaz Tourisme.
Children must be able to walk safely and are the responsibility of their parents.
Please bring warm clothes, and good walking shoes, lift pass, headlamp, as the activity will end after sunset.
Description
Immerse yourself in the heart of our mountains for a truly Valaisan evening that will delight both children and adults.
During this activity, you will meet the famous Hérens cows. These sturdy, powerful creatures will fascinate you with their history and traditions. The mid-mountain guide will be on hand to share captivating anecdotes about life on the mountain pastures and these emblematic cows of our region.
Your adventure begins at 4 p.m with a chairlift ride to Tortin (ticket for the charilift not included in the offer). Then, you walk back down towards Siviez following footpaths through the forest and over the pastures. On the way, you will be able to spot the cows grazing in their natural habitat and learn about how important their presence is in this Alpine setting.
What better way to end this outing than to enjoy a delicious raclette prepared for you on a wood fire ? Take a well-deserved break to savour this traditional delicacy in an exceptional natural setting. The smell of melted cheese and the warmth of the wood fire will make this a truly unforgettable evening. The activity ends around 10 p.m.
