Two-day introduction to Alphorn blowing
Come and try the alphorn in Nendaz and discover this extraordinary instrument.
Registration is open up to 48 hours before the activity. The activity requires a minimum of four and a maximum of eight participants. If the minimum number of participants is not reached, you may choose another date or receive a full refund.
Description
Two-day introductory alphorn courses are offered in collaboration with music teachers and passionate alphorn players. Thanks to this course, you will discover the unique sound of this ancestral instrument and learn to play your first notes – an experience full of emotion.
If the weather permits, the introductory alphorn lessons take place outdoors in the Pra da Dzeu area. It is in the open air that the alphorn is in its natural element and resonates best. In case of bad weather, the lessons take place in the resort, at the sports centre. Courses are available in English, French and German.
These introductory alphorn courses are open to children from the age of eight. Children under eight may attend the course free of charge but are not allowed to play.
