UCI Mountain Bike World Championships 2025

The International Cycling Union (UCI) has awarded the Valais the organization of the UCI Mountain Bike World Championships, scheduled for September 2025. Eight Valais destinations will host the various events. Bringing the seven disciplines together in the same region is a first in the history of the 2025 UCI Mountain Bike World Championships.

Eight Valais destinations

 

A total of eight Valais destinations will participate in the World Championships, each hosting a single discipline. The selected sites are Crans-Montana (Cross-Country), Région Dents du Midi (Downhill), Grächen (E-Bike), Leukerbad (Loèche-les-Bains) (Enduro), Verbier and the Val d'Anniviers (Marathon), Monthey (Pumptrack) and Zermatt (Short Track). The opening ceremony will take place in Sion. The map below provides an overview of the locations and disciplines.
