This robust cereal has been cultivated in Valais for centuries, but only those who make their own bread following the instructions of an expert can hold the true secret. End your day by enjoying a Valais speciality at one the “Saveurs du Valais” (Flavours of Valais) restaurants: raclette, assiette valaisanne (Valais platter), fondue (or brisolée depending on the season) are not to be missed when visiting Valais.

Day 2 - Saturday

Walk along a bisse, discover drystone walls and enjoy a tasting session.

Start your day with a walk along the Bisse de Clavau, where you can admire the traditional drystone walls that are masterpieces in their own right. You can also participate in a gourmet walk which includes a hike and a tasting session of local products.

In the afternoon, meet the Valais winemakers who enjoy sharing their passion for their vines and their wine. There are many different wine experiences available, from wine tasting to an escape game, and even a “rando-apéro” that offers the chance to enjoy an aperitif while strolling through the vineyards. Finally, end your day of discovery in style at one of the Gault&Millau restaurants for a high-flying gourmet experience.
