From 30 April to 11 May 2014, the “Giro del Gusto” roadshow stopped off at the Piazza del Cannone in Milan with a Swiss village. Here visitors were invited to sample a broad range of Valais AOP-IGP products and other Swiss specialities. On 3 May 2014, the Gotthard cantons held a conference on the theme of “The Alps and their lines of communication: the relationships between Switzerland and Italy.” For the following week, Valais region was in the spotlight and featured a number of destinations that typify the touristic, cultural and culinary variety that the canton has to offer.
