Winter hiking trail Sengg
This country path leads through the forest from the hamlet of Wildi to the Fletschhorn Restaurant and then back through the picturesque Sengg forest.

Description
The route begins in the hamlet of Wildi. From here, follow the snowy path through the forest to the Fletschhorn Restaurant. The trail then continues through the forest from behind the restaurant on to the hamlet of Sengg, before turning left just beyond the hamlet towards Senggbodu. After a gentle uphill section, the trail turns left again and continues at the same altitude to Bärufalla. Return from here along the groomed cross-country trail back to Wildi near Saas-Fee.
Turn-by-turn directions
The route begins in the hamlet of Wildi, behind the restaurant "Alphitta". From here, follow the path to the Fletschhorn Restaurant. The trail then continues through from behind the restaurant on to the hamlet of Sengg, before turning left just beyond the hamlet towards Senggbodu. At the sign the trail turns left again and continues to Bärufalla. Return from here along the cross-country trail back to Wildi.

Getting there
Information
Public transport
Take the train to Visp, followed by the post bus to Saas-Fee. Exit the bus terminus and head for Wildistrasse and the start of the track.
Approach
Take the cantonal road to Visp, and at the roundabout near the Landbrücke continue south towards Saas-Fee and Zermatt. At the ‘Killerhof’ roundabout after Stalden, take the second exit towards Saas-Fee. At Saas-Grund, turn right towards Saas-Fee at the intersection after the church.
Parking
The covered public parking area is located immediately as you drive into Saas-Fee village.
