Description

The snowshoe trail starts at the Hannigbahn valley station and initially follows the road northwards for a few metres. At the first junction, turn left onto the path to Boutique Lodge Spycher and follow this until it joins the Hohneggweg.  Follow this path northwards for a few metres until a clearly visible marker appears on the left.  Now follow the markings uphill in bends until the path joins the Carl Zuckmayer Weg. Then follow the path in a southerly direction to the Alpenblick restaurant. From there, stay on the wide path for a short while before the path branches off to the left into the forest. Follow the markings on this narrower path to the edge of the forest.  From there, follow the path to the clearly visible Alpe Hannig. At Alpe Hannig, the trail continues in a northerly direction for approx. 400 metres before curving past a barn. From here, the trail continues in a northerly direction until the last bend before the trail ends at the Hannig mountain station.
