Offering a breathtaking view of the Valais Alps, Leukerbad has two ski lifts in the heart of the village, while most of the ski area lies in Torrent, accessible by cable car. In total, the resort offers 53 kilometres of mostly red and black runs, located between 1,400 and 2,600 metres above sea level. There are also a number of patrolled freeride routes and a snowpark. The ski area has one of the longest runs in the canton, stretching 9.7 kilometres between Schwalbennest and Flaschen, while children can have fun learning to ski at the Rinderhütte.
