Description

Start from the resort centre with a pretty loop through the marshes, an easy route with no change in altitude. The trail continues through a beautiful forest before reaching Champex d'en Haut.

Turn-by-turn directions

From the car park, join the track beside the lake. Turn right for a lovely loop through the marshes. Then return to the lakeside and walk alongside it to the west past a small chapel and continue through the forest as far as the ‘scout square’. From here, return along the upper road to cross the Revers ski run and climb back up to the chairlift departure point. Go under the chairlift and down the slope to the main car park. Follow the road, then leave it and take the long descent north-westwards through the forest to Champex d'en Haut. The return journey takes you first over the meadows of Champex d'en Haut, before rejoining the same route as the descent. At the entrance to the large chairlift car park, take the track to the east, then go back under the chairlift to rejoin the marshes track and the starting point.
