Description

The cross-country trail in the lower village area offers ideal conditions for classic cross-country skiing as well as skating and is carefully prepared for this. The best entry is right after the bridge at the Briggu stop or at the Noyer stop. The sunny loop in the upper area is flat and easy to ski, perfect for beginners and leisure skiers. Those seeking more challenge can ski downhill along the Dala and glide through an idyllic forest to the bridge. After crossing the stream, the trail leads through several loops and climbs back to the start point via gentle, rolling ascents. Here you will find varied trail sections and an impressive natural backdrop – an ideal place to be active and enjoy the winter landscape.

Turn-by-turn directions

The village trail starts at the "Zer Briggu" stop and leads through sunny sections towards the south. The flat loop in the upper area is ideal for beginners, while a more challenging route runs through an idyllic forest along the Dala. The return route goes back to the starting point via gentle climbs.

Author's recommendation

Arrival by bus is possible. You will probably be faster on foot. The Stafelinweg runs between the sports arena along the Dala to the starting point "Briggu." Those who want can then take the bus up to the Leukerbad bus terminal - it runs every 30 minutes.
