Description

You start at the end of Lac Moubra, where you have a wonderful view of the holiday resort and the ski slopes. There is also a large parking lot here.

The route leads over the 9-hole golf course, considered one of the most beautiful in Switzerland. It opened in 1951 and, after remodeling and expansion in 1986, was renamed Jack Nicklaus.

Quiet and close to nature, this route offers a wonderful view of the Valais Alps – from the Matterhorn to Mont Blanc. The restaurant terraces on the lakeshore invite you to take a break.

Safety information

Use of the trails and information on this website is at your own risk. Valais/Wallis Promotion assumes no responsibility for the accuracy and completeness of the information on this website.

Assess your own abilities and fitness well. Using the various routes is fundamentally at your own responsibility.

  • Use only marked trails and observe all signposts and instructions – for your own safety, to protect grazing animals, and out of respect for wildlife.
  • Behave considerately towards other trail users and the landscape. Take your rubbish and that of others with you.
  • Carry additional sunscreen. UV rays at altitude can be very strong, especially in winter, even on cloudy days.
  • Weather conditions in the mountains can change very quickly and without warning. Appropriate clothing is very important.
