Description

From the left bank of the Dranse opposite the center of the La Fouly resort, you will start on the A Neuve plateau, an ideal place to begin cross-country skiing, with very little slope. You can choose to head south along the Dranse towards Ferret, the last village of the valley, which in summer is the gateway to many alpine pastures. Returning to the A Neuve plateau, continue north to reach one of the smallest and most beautiful hamlets of the Val Ferret: Amône and its splendid slab of the same name, famous in the climbing world during the best season.

Turn-by-turn directions

From the bus stop in the center of the resort, continue 100 meters on the main road and take the road on the right that goes down to the Dranse. Put on your skis before the bridge, then join the start of the trail on the other side of the bridge.

Then choose the loop to the north towards Ferret or to the south towards Amônez by following the existing markings.
