Description

This classic or skating skiing loop is located between the Pont de Singline and the Pont de Gietti in the enchanting setting of the Plats de la Lée, along the river Navisence. This route in the heart of Nature, between mountains and river, offers magnificent views over the far end of the valley and the Besso with its twin peaks.

Shortly before the end, you can relax at the Relais de la Tzoucdana.

Turn-by-turn directions

Start by crossing the Pont de Singline, next to the Plats de la Lée car park. The bridge offers a splendid view of the Besso. Follow the cross-country ski run along the river Navisence and upon arriving at the small Laulosses stream, follow the ski run on the right, leading to the end of Plats de la Lée and Pont de Gietti. Cross the bridge and follow the Navisence towards Zinal. When you reach the Chemin des Clotis, follow the ski run on the right, which offers a short detour before coming back to the Navisence. Then head to the starting point.

Getting there
Information

Public transport

To reach Zinal from Sierre, take the bus to Vissoie (n. 12.451), then the bus going from Vissoie to Zinal (n. 12.453) - Plats de la Lée stop, at only two minutes from the starting point.

Approach

Exit the A9 motorway at the Sierre-Est exit (Nr. 29). Head to Val d'Anniviers and Zinal. When you reach Zinal, follow the main road crossing the village and leading to Plats de la Lée.

Parking

You can park at the Plats de la Lée car park, at only two minutes distance from the starting point. Parking fee required.
