Turn-by-turn directions

From the town center of Monthey, you reach the cantonal road into the Val dʼIlliez via a winding road, which passes the village of Troistorrents after an initial climb. The municipality of Troistorrents has produced many high-performance athletes, especially in skiing. It also allowed the local cycling champion Steve Morabito to hone his skills on the roads of the region. Afterwards, you ride through the village of Val dʼIlliez, whose warm water springs can have a soothing effect after a strenuous bike route. The emblem of Val dʼIlliez is the mountain range of the Dents du Midi, which you can admire during the entire ascent.
